Step 1: Go to QuickBooks Desktop and open the 'List Menu' from the options at the top, and choose the option labeled 'Items' from the dropdown bar. This will take users to a list of every created item, and after any entry is selected, we click 'Edit Item.'
Step 2: In the edit screen, choose Custom Fields from the buttons on the right.
Step 3: Create a custom field with the label 'UPC' and select the OK button.
Step 4: Enter the product's barcode into the custom field called UPC we just created. This will map the data to the Barcode 2 field back on the inSitu Sales admin portal.
