If your connection to QuickBooks Online fails, the very first thing to check should always be verifying that the user is logging in through an admin account.
Step 1: First, go to Integrations, and then QuickBooks.
Step 2: Go to the dropdown bar marked QuickBooks Version and select Online.
Step 3: Now click on the button marked Connect To QuickBooks, which will open the inSitu Sales Web Connector.
At this stage, please note that using any account that doesn't have an Admin role won't be able to successfully connect, as it would lack the permissions.
In the User Management section of QuickBooks Online, make sure you're logging in with an account using the Admin role, rather than a standard user.
Step 4: Here is the screen a user should see on the Web Connector if they log into an Admin account with the proper permissions granted. Click Connect to link the accounts.
