How To Duplicate A Deleted Order In QuickBooks

At this time, duplicating an Order can only be done on the inSitu Mobile app. Functionality for duplicating on the admin portal will be available at a later date. Duplicating an order will also result in a new order number, so any changes in data from the duplicate will not interrupt the original. 

Step 1: Go to the History tab and look for the order you want duplicated, then select it. For this example we are using Order-149204from Grewalz Liquor & Grocery. 

Step 2: The order will open by default onto the Checkout page, where you can tap the 3 dots in the top right to open the window shown. Select the bottom option labeled Duplicate. 

 

Step 3: The app will now load a copy of the exact products from the original order. Users can now make any changes desired. 

Step 4: We completed our example duplicate without any changes, and it now appears at the top of our History tab. The duplicate also came with a new order number, as it is now marked Ord-16.
