Step 1: Access Orders
- Login to the website, from the left menu, navigate to the Sales module admin-> Orders section.
Step 2: Select the Order
- Locate the order you want to convert to an invoice. You can search for the order by order number, customer name, or date, then click the Edit icon under the "Actions" column.
Step 3: Convert to Invoice
• Look for the option to convert the order to an invoice. This is located at the bottom of the screen. “Create Invoice”.
• Click this option to initiate the conversion, either select all the items or one by one. This might take a while depending on the number of items in the order.
Step 4: Review Invoice Details
• After converting, you will be taken to the invoice creation page.
• Review the details of the invoice to ensure they are accurate. This includes customer information, item details, quantities, prices, and any applicable taxes or discounts.
Step 5: Make Adjustments (if necessary)
• If any changes are needed, make them at this stage.
• Ensure all necessary fields are filled out and correct.
Step 6: Save or Send Invoice
• Once everything is correct, save the invoice.
• You can then choose to send the invoice to the customer via email or print it out for physical delivery.
Step 7: Confirm Invoice Status
• After sending or saving, confirm that the invoice status is updated in the system.
• The status should change to indicate that the order has been invoiced.
